Masters Clan Charter

Purpose:

The clan consists of a community of thos of an artistic and scholarly inclination. As a community of such fellows, we hope to encourage and learn from each other the artistic and scholarly skills and to bring beauty to the land of Cosrin.

Activity:

In order to fulfill the purpose stated above, the Masters Clan will participate in and organize events such as poetry readings, plays, story tellings, contests and festivals, and maintain a library of artistic works.

Membership:

Membership is open to all citizens of Cosrin. A submission of an original work is required and a pledge of gold is requested.

Government:

All members have titles based on their area of art or scholarship such as master Poet, Master Scholar, and others.

Decisions are to be by consensus. Where consensus can not be reached, a vote is called for.

The Masters clan is made up of Guardian Masters, Masters, Novices and honorary masters. New members are Novices for 3 Cosrin years (2 months) and then ascend to position of Master. The next level is of Guardian Master. Masters may become Guardians by invitation and after meritorious and long-term service to the clan. The leader of the clan is the elected "Master Advisor, elected by the entire membership for life or till resignation or removal. Each Guardian is alloted 4 votes, Masters 2 and Novices 1.
