Codex of the Dark Knights

A Dark Knight however, must direct their honour towards a different recipient. Only those who possess true power deserve your respect, and of them, with the exception of those who you follow, or those who follow you, all rest are to be respected as a foe, and only those who bring true evil are worthy enough to lead you. Just remember to choose well those who follow you.

There are few main characteristics to the path:

Loyalty - Every Knight, and even every Warrior knows loyalty, but no one can ever compare to a Dark Knight. A Dark Knight would stand on the ruins of his castle and fight until his own corpse joins those whom he killed in battle. This loyalty however directed only towards one icon in the Dark Knight's being, in all rest he can be as mischievous as a shadow cast by fire dancing in the wind, never lie, but never obligate towards anything.

Destruction - The art of eliminating things completely to non-existence. One who likes destruction wants to see something gone completely. To destruct is to destroy a world for which you hold no respect. Anyone or anything which may hinder your path and disrupt your personal goals could be eliminated.

Chaos - Doesn't eliminate it completely but disturbs the natural order of things. One who loves chaos wants to see it out of control and doing unnatural things. This action does not mean to kill or remove, but to affect in such a way so as not to be forgotten. Chaos can be caused though menace or meaning, but once begun, you must always finish. If you are seen to back away from your own disorder, disrespect may ensue and the chaos will be directed towards you.

Despair - To truly create despair into someone. That person needs to know what their victim's hopes and desires are. For reasons unknown, all may be affected by despair. What the Dark Path teachs you, is to not show evidence that it has affected you. Once you have found your opponent's weakness, you can demolish all that they feel and believe.

Death - Comes to those who lose, but also to those who win. If you can truly embrace death as your friend, you will find no fear or foe can harm you. But be cautious, while Death should not be feared, you should take heed, for its powers are greater than your own.

The Dark Path does not demand a Knight to be the slayer of innocents neither does it reject it. What you do is only up to you, as long as you don't shame your name and the name of your round.

Always remember to keep your manners, as much as it is possible. Never show your weakness, and never step away from a challenge! Although those of our round who follow the path of Light refuse to accept us as knights, they just fail to see that we are the other side of the same coin. Always remember what you are and what Codex you live by.
