A Motion of
Meaning
Brother Kulthesu, Bushi of Kwon has asked me to explain the following
gesture...
(You see Myste move her right hand forward in a fist, placing her left
hand flat palm downwards atop as she bows)
This is motion of shared learning given in respect, usually at the
opening or close of a shared learning. Its meaning is most reflected in
the path of Kwon as it is thus;
The fist represents strength, or power of will if you wish. The left
hand signifies control. The left hand placed over the right simply
shows control of power. It should be done in a fairly slow manner, to
show the consideration to its meaning and the respect to the other, it
is not a curt motion which is done purely for ritual sake, as none
should be.
