The Rogues of the land are usually quite carefree,
helping themselves to what they want, whilst helping others in the
process to get something they require. Most ask for very little, giving
a bright smile and quick wink as nimble fingers make quick work of a
locked chest. Others are out for personal gain and nothing more,
lurking in the shadows to steal any gold and expensive items they can
find. However, all strive for the art of the instant kill, and the
ability to add a little extra bite to their blades through deadly
poisons. Some spend years to gain the knowledge required to be that
little bit better.
Guild Officers
The officers of the Rogues' Guild are responsible
for the leadership of the guild. All Guild Officers are considered
representatives of the guild, and any actions taken by them are
considered the actions of the guild. The Guild Officers are:
Guildmaster
The Guildmaster is the head of the guild. All
decisions that are made must go through them. The Guildmaster is
responsible for the well being of the members of the guild, as well as
their punishment. A guildvote will be held every six (OOC) months in
order to determine if a new Guildmaster should be elected.
Guild Steward
The Steward is second in command of the guild. In
the event of the prolonged absence of the Guildmaster, the Steward
shall take on all powers and responsibilities of the Guildmaster (Known
as activation of the Stewardship). A prolonged absence is defined as
being four (OOC) weeks. The Steward shall set in motion elections to
find a new Guildmaster one (OOC) month after the activation of the
Stewardship. In the event that a new steward is required, a vote is to
be held between the two current Subguild Leaders to choose a
replacement.
Guild Assistants
The purpose of the two Guild Assistants is to aid
the Guild Master and Steward in the day-to-day running of the guild.
The Assistants shall be consulted with every major guild issue before
they are carried out. A Guild Assistant that is absent for four (OOC)
weeks shall be replaced at the discretion of the Guild Master.
Subguild Leaders
The Outfit and Shadows subguilds shall each have a
member that takes on the role of Subguild Leader. These members are the
Subguilds' equivalent of the Guild Master, and have the control over
the Subguild that the Guild Master has over the Guild. The Guild Master
has final say in all Guild and Subguild matters.
Guild Rules
The Rogues' Guild is intended to allow its members
the greatest possible amount of freedom in their actions. As such,
there are not many rules to abide by.
1. Stealing from a guild-mate is forbidden. This includes:
a. Stealing money or items from a rogue, or from
a hunting party that includes a rogue.
b. Interfering with the business of another
rogue. This includes everything from chest unlocking to poisoning.
2. Poisoning, Assassination, Herbalism and Stealth may not be taught to
anyone from another guild.
Any infraction on the rules will result in a
shunned title. Guild members may not deal with or interact with a rogue
that has been given that title.
