One day I was sitting in my room just playing with
my dog, when a large figure entered my house and killed my brother
before my eyes. He told me that I had two choices: come with him, or be
killed. Naturally, at the age of 6 I cried and said that I didn't want
to die.
He took some paint and covered me in
it. He then told me to follow him, and do nothing. He moved out of the
door, however, it was very hard to see him. Eventually I got completely
lost in some forest, and he kept going.
I shouted, moved around, cried and ran
from enemies until I came upon a dead end and a huge Troll that could
have been the champion of the entire race. It cornered me and was about
to kill me.
Right then that shadowed figure came
out of the darkness and killed the troll instantly. At first I thought
it was an extremely strong fighter, but the figure told me that it was
called an assassination. Naturally I thanked him, but he told me that
if I got lost again he wouldn't bail me out.
I promised that I would follow, and he
covered me in the paint once again. We climbed a huge wall, and he
jumped onto a nearby roof. I followed until we got in front of a large
building. He pointed towards it, and told me to develop my skills in
fighting, and he would show me around later when I had trained enough.
I went up to the man there, and Mr. Ironchin as I remember, was asking
for a four-leafed clover. I told him I would look out for one, and
proceeded north. Then I heard some man talking about seeing a pretty
green plant on a western road in town.
I decided to find this, because it
might be the clover. I didn't have to walk too far, and there in the
middle of the road was a four leaf clover! I picked it up and ran as
fast as I could to Mr. Ironchin and offered it to him. This might have
been my ticket to fame! I would go around and find out what a person
needed done, and then I would fulfill their needs!
I felt great and my knowledge to train in areas of
a rogue increased, so I sought out to find the cloaked man. Little did
I know that the figure was also looking for me, and we met up at a
bank. He gave me 5000 gold pieces and told me to go with him. We went
into catacombs beneath my new guild I had joined, and we walked around
a little bit. Then we came to a dead end, but the cloaked man searched
a bit and we moved south. There in the middle of the room was the
prettiest acorn I had ever seen. I decided that I could get a bundle
for it in town. So sure enough I got one, and he took me to a guild
near a morgue and Official of some kind. There in front of this guild
called the "Rogue Guild" stood a short man called Robyn of the Hood. He
asked if I had found an acorn made of silver, and I told him that I was
worth a lot. He would have to give me something very special if he
wanted to get it from me. Then I was told to give him the acorn by the
cloaked man. Immediately Robyn moved to the side and gestured towards
me to step inside. . .
