Muramas
sits down before the fountain of dreams to rest. He lays down, and
begins to doze off into a reminiscence of his life before Moorgate.
This is his dream.
"Mother!" Muramas shouted. "Its good tae
see ye again mother." Muramas's mother looked down at him with her
shimmering blue eyes. "Hello Muramas, are ye well?" Muramas looked up
at her and nodded. He moved out of the doorway to allow her to enter,
knowing that she was tired. He watched as her thin elfin frame
disappeared into the house. Muramas looked up, confused as to what
would happen next. He began walking
towards the house, when he heard a faint war cry of a Snotler
Swordsman. He ran inside, grabbed his father's sword and started back
to the door, when his mother stopped him. "No Muramas, ye are to young,
i will not allow ye tae be harmed. I'll go." Muramas watched as his
mother left the house, carrying her short sword. She raised her blade
and prepared to advance, only to find that there was more than one
opponent. One of them raised a crossbow and fired at her, she dodged swiftly and swung at one of them, she hit it
hard. She fought bravely, but was eventually overtaken and killed by
them. Muramas watched in horror as she died. "NO!!!" Muramas shouted,
enraged. He lifted the blade up and charged fiercely at the creatures,
swinging the blade speedily and accurately, he eventually drove the
creatures away. "Muramas.....I see ye have learned something from
me..." Muramas looked at his mother, and broke down. "Mother, please...don't die." His mother laughed. "But I
must! Everyone must die at one time or another, i suppose this is my
time. Good-bye, Muramas..." Muramas buried his mother the next day, and
, taking his father's sword with him, he left, in search of a new home..........
